Cable Management Our whole ethos at GES is to provide a suitable cable enclosure that meets all the required specifications incorporating excellent cable management within and between the enclosures. Through this GES can efficiently install cables and maintain them for the life of the installation.

Dado Trunking - Skirting and dado trunking systems have been developed to provide a practical solution for the supply of power data, and telecom cabling for your offices or business premises.

GES can offer a complete package to install all your power, IT, data, and communication cabling needs.

Compartment Trunking - Compartment trunking has been developed to provide practical solution for the distribution of power data, and telecom cabling with in your offices or business premises. It is commonly used along with other cable management and other distribution systems.

Ladder Rack- Ladder rack is a system of prefab rails connected by rungs and is a proven cost effective solution for power distribution. Ladder rack is commonly used for larger self-supporting cables.

Tray - Cable tray is available in through and solid bottom versions. Solid provides nonventilated continuous support with added cable protection, usually used in minimal heat generating electrical or IT, data, and communication cabling applications. Through offers moderate ventilation and increased cable support. It is generally used in moderate heat generating applications.

Conduit - Conduit comes in both plastic and metal. While plastic is lighter and easier to install, metal conduit offers more durability. Conduit is used in many instance of containment, management and the distribution of cables.

Basket Tray - Basket tray is a welded wire mesh system offering flexibility and adaptability. It is commonly used under raised computer floors to distribute IT, data, and communication cabling.

Bridges - Prevent accidents caused by tripping over loose cables with bridges.
Tripping and falling over loose cables can cause severe personal injury as well as damage to attached sensitive electronic equipment. Safeguard your employees and equipment with cable bridges to hide and protect equipment.

Armoured Cabling Armoured cables offer versatility and durability and are generally used along side one of the many containment systems for the distribution of power. Because of its versatility, armoured cabling can be used in many applications, from control wiring to large distribution systems.

Fire Alarms Fire alarm systems can be placed into three categories. Conventional, Addressable and Analogue Addressable. At GES we offer all three types of alarm. All installed to the latest regulations.

Conventional

In a conventional alarm system, a number of call points and detectors are wired to the main panel in zones. A zone is one circuit and would typically cover one floor or fire compartment. Zones offer a rough idea where a fire has started. The number of zones determines the accuracy of the source of initialisation.

The alarm system would have a minimum of two sounder circuits, containing bells electronic sounders or other audible devices.

Addressable

Addressable Systems are similar to conventional systems except the panel can pinpoint exactly which call point or detector has initiated the alarm. A detection circuit is wired in a loop and up to 99 devices can be fitted. Each device has a unique address and the main panel is programmed to recognise each devise.

Sounders are wired exactly as a conventional system.

Analogue

Analogue systems are sometimes known as intelligent fire alarms. Each detector effectively incorporates its own computer, which evaluates the environment and communicates with the panel. The detector will recognise a fire, fault or if the head needs cleaning. The primary purpose is to help prevent the occurrence of false alarms.

This system can monitor over 800 devices from a single panel and thus can be very effective in larger buildings.

Control Wiring At GES we can provide panel control systems and wiring looms to suit a variety of applications, including instrumentation, PLC’s, monitoring systems and protection devices. We can expand existing wiring looms to meet your new requirements or incorporate new wring looms into existing panel control systems.

Lighting Schemes Working with leading manufacturers GES can offer complete lighting schemes to compliment your offices, premises and surroundings. Lighting has always been a competitive industry, especially in the design and build sector. This is where we can offer high quality luminaries that are capable of meeting design criteria and performance. GES can also offer a low cost option, which is still capable of meeting all requirements.

Distribution Systems GES can provide a full service, from the supply, design, installation and maintenance of new installations to refurbishment and addition to existing distribution systems. We cover a wide variety of industry sectors, including retail, offices, catering and manufacturing.

We offer both single and three phase distribution systems, including load banks, mccb panels, submain cabling and containment, from single to multi distribution installations.

We also offer busbar trunking, which is an alternative means of distributing lighting and power. With tap off points at regular intervals it offers versatility and flexibility. Once a busbar system is installed adding a socket, removing a light or relocating a machine is done with relative ease and minimal cost. In industrial installations it is often used as vertical rising main to feed low power and overhead lighting busbar systems.
